Weather station at the ACSC Corporation Office, a partnership with WHIN.

Attica Consolidated School Corporation has partnered with Wabash Heartland Innovation Network (WHIN) to install a weather station on the grounds of the Attica schools community campus.  The data from this weather station can be viewed live from any web browser.

See the current weather conditions at Attica Jr.-Sr. High School.

Students in agriculture  and science classes will use this data in their studies, learning about weather conditions, climate, soil temperature and more.

But the weather station is part of something bigger.

WHIN is working to build a dense network of weather stations specifically designed to provide hyperlocal information to farmers  to help them understand current conditions, historical trends, and future possibilities.  Currently, WHIN has over 180 such weather stations in the Wabash river valley, and ACSC is proud to be part of this effort.

Update.  An easy-to-find link to the Attica weather station has been placed in the menu of the Attica schools website and on the app.
