Joslyn Barnett qualifies for the State Tournament placing 4th today at Regionals.
Bartkowiak is now 34-1 on the season. Barnett is now 34-5 on the season.

Hello! My name is Clinton Robertson, and I’m excited to be teaching Earth and Space Science at Attica Jr/Sr High School this year. I grew up locally attending Fountain Central, and after serving as a submarine nuclear electrician in the U.S. Navy, I pursued my passion for teaching. I graduated from Purdue University in December and am excited to bring my passion for science into the classroom.
In our Earth and Space Science class, we’ll explore fascinating topics like planetary science, meteorology, and the processes that shape our solar system and beyond. My goal is to make science engaging and to spark curiosity about the world around us.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy trivia, retro tech, and hiking. I’m always looking for new ways to incorporate and bring creativity and discovery into learning. I look forward to a fantastic year working together!

Hello! My name is Jackie Thomas, and I am thrilled to be joining Attica Jr./Sr. High School once again as a science teacher this January. As an Indianapolis native, I’m deeply connected to our small, vibrant community and am excited to contribute to the growth and success of our students.
When I’m not diving into the wonders of science, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four kids, as well as caring for our beloved animals. Crafting, reading, and exercising are some of my favorite ways to unwind and stay inspired. I look forward to fostering curiosity and creativity in the classroom while building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. It’s an honor to serve the community I call home, and I’m eager to make this a fantastic year of discovery and learning together!

Update- The power has been restored and we are back to our regular 2 hour delay schedule.
Dear Parents,
We wanted to inform you that we are currently experiencing a power outage in both our elementary and high school buildings. At this time, safety lights are functioning, and we are operating on a modified schedule to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Our administration is actively working with Duke Electric to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Please rest assured that all students are being fed, and we are closely monitoring the situation. We will inform you as soon as possible if we need to have an early dismissal.

Attica Consolidated School Corporation will be on a two-hour delay this morning.
The PCC and Work Based Learning students from AHS toured Harrison Steel this morning. Thanks to Jason Beck and staff for hosting us on this informative tour.
Beginning Monday, December 16th, buses will be dropping off and picking up students behind the building. If your child is a car rider you will now be able to pull up to the front of the building. There will no longer be a wait time on buses. The only entrance and exit to the school will be off of Sycamore Street. The gate that has been in use to enter and leave the grounds by the corporation office will be locked and no longer in use.
