In SEL/PE, we have been having a great time, focusing on our Floor Hockey Unit in P.E, and on good sportsmanship and listening-with-attention in SEL. Our Ramblers are doing an amazing job practicing all of these important skills!

In our SEL and Career Exploration/Career Readiness Rotation, our 7th and 8th grade students were collaborating, communicating, using critical reasoning skills, and learning to work within a deadline to create and market a new product idea for our “Toys Reimagined” project.
Students researched and performed roles & responsibilities involving engineering, industrial design, graphic design, copywriting, marketing, package structural engineering, while focusing on concepts such as understanding demographics, setting price points, and how to reach target audiences.

AES Spell Bowl placed 2nd in the red division last night at their spell bowl competition. Congratulations kids!

Congratulations to Annie Reynolds for an Exemplary Behavior Report from the IHSAA!
I met Annie as the Attica Girls Basketball Manager. I was impressed with her professionalism, hard work and dedication in her role to the team. She was pleasant to work with and was the best manager that I have seen in a while. Coach Dawson, the coaching staff and players should be proud of Annie's efforts.


Today in STEAM Saturday students learned about pulleys and engaged in hands-on learning as they designed and built their own flag poles discovering how these simple machines work too raise and lower flags.





The bat houses the Ag power class designed, built are finished! 2 will be donated to the Fountain County Fairgrounds and 2 to the Attica Parks and Recreation Department.
