
This past Sunday our eSports team competed in the Kougar Open at Kanakaee Valley High School. This was the first tournament for this year's team members. They won a few matches and learned a lot.

Our boys swim team had a great day at sectional finals today! Nearly every swim was a PR and Aaron Saunders placed 6th in the 200 IM and a stunning 4th in the 100 backstroke!!


Gwen Duncan received a gold with distinction rating, the highest award possible, at the ISSMA State Vocal Solo/Ensemble Contest today in Indianapolis! This is her third year receiving this well-deserved award. Way to go, Gwen!

Aaron Saunders continues to improve on personal best times, swimming a 1:05.95 in 100 Backstroke. He placed second in his heat and ended up in the top 8 to advance to Saturday's sectional finals.

Yesterday,
Target Time classes started the rock-paper-scissors tournament. Those winners played their grade level peers at lunch today and we now have our bracket set for the pep session tomorrow. Congrats to Officer Askren for winning the staff competition.











Tonight's 6th grade girls basketball game vs Covington has been rescheduled for Monday, February 26th.

These 6th graders have been working at Target Time to finish their homecoming board. Each class is making a board and they will be on display this Friday for the homecoming game.



We are officially 120 days smarter in first grade!
