April 8 Solar Eclipse plan for early dismissal


Mr. Latoz's WRCTE North Criminal Justice students have been working on an investigation unit. Today, they split off in two teams and worked on “Unsolved Case Files”.





ACSC will be dismissing early on April 8th, 2024 due to the Total Solar Eclipse.
AES will release at 12:45pm.
AHS will release at 1pm.
There will be NO after school activities on April 8th, 2024

Mrs. Newman's ICP class has been working super hard for the last few weeks learning about electricity and wiring. Today at lunch they had their finished cardboard houses/rooms with working lights and door alarms on display at lunch.











Even though we won't be in school on March 14th, Mr. Duncan didn't let his Precalculus class miss out of celebrating Pi Day. Today they exchanged Pi facts while eating Pie.


Coach Harding joined us today during lunches to do a Trap Team Callout.



Today we hosted the 8th Grade Reality Mall. It is an opportunity for our 8th graders to role play as 28 year olds who must make decisions about money.

Congratulations to our 5 Attica High School students who participated in the 2024 S3DA Archery Indoor Nationals in Owensboro, KY. over this past weekend!
Our Rambler Archers competed with 950 students from across the Nation for medals, in this National Championship.
Even though our Ramblers didn’t make podium placings, they definitely brought back with them bragging rights and great memories from this event! Personal best scores were shot as well as drawing attention from College Representatives for scholarship opportunities.
An S3DA “Clean Round” is a 300 score with 60 X’s.
A “Perfect Round” is a 150 score with up to 30 X’s.
Personal scores and overall placings for 2024 Indoor Nationals are as follows:
Hannah Lacy with a score of 298 / 37 X’s – (2nd day 150 score) - 10th place
Taylor Clevenger with a score of 298 / 30 X’s – (2nd day 150 score) - 22nd place
Kendyl Clevenger with a score of 276 / 11 X’s – 37th place
Layne Wilson with a score of 269 / 13 X’s – 73rd place
Dallas Hollingsworth with a score of 238 / 6 X’s – 86th place

AHS Culinary students are preparing for the cupcake competition with their filled and piped cupcakes. Eight teams from 4th and 5th hour are competing for the championship. Which team will be declared the winners???? Great job to each team.
